My fee for counselling is $75/hr, and some insurers will cover this cost. Please check with your insurance provider to see if you are covered for my services. If I'm not on their list, know that you can specify which therapist you want to see and often they will accept your preference of therapist. Know that if you don't have coverage, counselling costs are considered a medical expense and can be claimed on your income tax.
Fees for mediation depend upon the involvement/case, but start at $125/hr.
Payment is due at the end of each session, and can be paid by cash, cheque, credit card or Paypal. Sorry, no debit.
No-shows
It'll happen. Every once in awhile you can't make your appointment, and that's okay. When it does, please let me know as soon as possible so we can reschedule the appointment, and so I can then offer your time slot to someone else in need. It doesn't happen very often, but there are some circumstances where a client becomes a now-show repeat offender, and with this client I will bill for the missed appointment. Just so you know.
Referrals
You don't need a referral or physician's note to become a client, you can give me a call/email directly to set up an appointment. There will be times I will need to refer a client on to another provider, or work in conjunction with another healthcare professional, and that's to provide the client with the best possible care.
